| Description: | skinks are basicly legless lizards...but some one took four ant legs off an and stuck them on a glass lizard. above is a schnieders, also called a berbers in the UK, skink. they eat small insects and some plants. Skinks live everywhere except antarctica. they range in length from three inches to two feet. some noteable skinks are the blue tongued skink, which has a blue tongue it flashes at predators, the shingleback skink--having a tail almost identacle to its head and tough scales, and the ground skink, one of the most common lizards in some parts of the world. |
