I believe I can flyyyyyyyy–Oof!
Description:The Paradise Island Flying snake and its close relatives share one unique attrpbute shared by only two other reptiles. They can fly. Well, actually not really. But the can get close–by gliding. These remarkable colubrids can spread their ribs apart like wings and almost weave through the air. They appear to be slithering when "flying". They actually have another attribute that is rare in reptiles. rear fangs. Though not highly venomous, these serpents have fangs towards the back of their mouth. As they prey on birds and rodents, the mild sedative makes them easier to fight. The Gliding mechanism is thought not to be as an assistant to predation, but a way of escaping danger and fleeing the rainforest trees in south america they live in.
