my poke is worse than my bite...
| Description: | Spiny Lizards live in the North and central America. They look very spiny because of the tapering keels (ridges) on their scales. They usually eat various bugs and a few plants if the can find them, they also eat many small rodents. The males are usally slightly more colorful than females. They look like several herd tongued lizards, but are in fact extremely closely related to anoles. For an example, compare their feet. They are also sometimes called fence or spiny lizards. They are known to exhibit cannabilism. |
