Lizards
This is a special kind of section dedictaed to the biggest group of reptiles--The iguanids. Most iguanids are arboreal. Iguanids include Iguanas, of course, spiney lizards, collared lizards, Anoles, and basilisks. This group of lizards is scattered through out the world but mostly in the Americas. Basilisks are known to walk on water, most species of anole have been introduced from other areas, collered lizards and spiny lizards stretch from california to arizona to louisiana. Most of this group eat small insects and fruits, but some anoles have been known to eat crabs. This is the largest group of lizards in the entire planet. One lizard that is mostly iguana, and part Iguanid, is the Forest chameleon, or casque headed iguana, or the helmeted iguana. This entire family is spectacular, and here is some more about them...
