From: Reptile Maniac (Sun Apr 18 13:13:28 2004) When I first fed our Rosey Boa, Bitz, after he ate a pinkie I reached in to get him and put him back in his home and he must have thought I was another pinkie because he turned very quickly and head-butted me!! It startled me but it also taught me to be more careful about washing the pinkie smell off my fingers! |

It was a cold day out side and we were very relieved to be near a heated area full of animals, the majority of them reptiles. It was a great trip, and we were both inspired to go look around one of our favorite pet shops; zookeeper. When we got there we asked about some good snakes for slightly advanced reptile begginers. "corn snakes are what I'd reccomend," the guy said. We both were enchanted by a little corn snake to be later named Verdi. One employee brought out a little rosy boa too. We named the rosy boa Bitz. In the end we came out with two snakes!! |

All of a sudden he came in and said, "hey Isaac, do you want to hold my snake?" I said okay,as soon as I touched it....
