| Description: | Here are two Hadrosauruses. The Hadrosaurs were the most common dinosaurs during the Cretacious period. As large as forty feet or so, the bigger Hadrosaurs like Lambeosaurus were massive and probably very terifying. But the most danger thay posed to anyone was exploding their eardrums. The Lambeosauranids, which consisted of a little over half the hadros, had huge crests of bony structures on their head. the nasal passages went through the skull, and it is though that they used the bony buildings as amplifiers for loud honking noises for attracting mates or warning rivals to stay away. They lived from the late-early cretacious to the mass extinction of sixty-five million years ago. |

I think Hadrosaurus would be a forest green color to match there habitat. I do think that they could use their crests to make mating calls. Maybe they even had a very bright color like orange or red on it crest to attract a mate.Don't you think?

The mating call theory is almost a sure thing. the shape of a nasal cavity, or in this case, crest, always affects an animal sound. The T-rex, though huge, probably made a sound more like a frog because of the shape (not size) of its nasal cavity.
